This racetrack sculpture depicts the layout of Summit Point Motorsports Park Shenandoah Circuit, a configuration of road racing and driver training facility located in Jefferson County, West Virginia, US about two hours west of Washington, D.C. in the state's Eastern Panhandle. The Jefferson Circuit has a track 3.5 km in length with 22 turns. This configuration of SPM Park is considered one of the most technical circuits of the recent crop of race courses, the Shenandoah also boasts a smaller scale replica of the Nürburgring-Nordschleife's famous banked Karussell turn.
Summit Point Motorsports Park, opened in 1970, as a professional racing venue.
