The racetrack sculpture depicts the complete current layout of Nurburging which incorporates the North Loop (also known as Nordschleife) and GP Circuit (formerly South Loop or Südschleife). Nestled among Eifel Forest in Nürburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany – Nurburg racetrack runs 13 miles long with 70 turns, blind corners, jumps and drops. The exhilarating track offers sun on one half of the course and rain on the other. The term 'Nürburgring' literally means the Nürburg circuit. Since its inception in late 1920s, the track has undergone major revamping several times, although the basic layout has survived which consists of two tracks, north and south. The 20.8 km Nordschleife (northern loop) hold on to most of the original design. However, the original Südschleife (southern loop) was demolished to make way for a new GP circuit following the Formula One accident of Nikki on the Nordschleife in 1976. In its place, a modern 4.5 km GP-Strecke was constructed in 1984 that conforms to modern safety standards. All F1 events are now held on this circuit. The two tracks—one very safe, the other quite dangerous—sit adjacent to one another. The Nürburgring is often referred to as the Nürburgring Nordschleife because the North Loop (Nordschleife) is what people actually drive today. Some major events under its belt are FIA Formula One, German Grand Prix, European Grand Prix, Luxembourg Grand Prix, Superbike World Championship, DTM, 24 Hours Nürburgring, 1000km Nürburgring and VLN. Express fondness for your favorite track by hanging this fascinating layout sculpture of Nurburging complete track in your man cave, living room or literally anywhere indoors. This will surely add a hint of German motorsports heritage to your place. An ideal gift for racing fans, event participants or winners. Also serves as wall art, trophy, memorabilia, collectible. One-piece racetrack crafted as a single piece. With no seams or joints, it has sleek and smooth looks.
The racetrack is available in 3 different sizes

The racetrack sculpture depicts the layout of Nürburgring Nordschleife located in Nürburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is considered to be the world’s most demanding road course, the Nürburging’s Nordschleife (literally Nürburging’s Norther Loop) twists and turns, rises and falls for 12.9 miles through the dense Eifel Mountains. Dubbed as the "Green Hell," by Jackie Stewart, northern ring boasts an elevation gain/loss of about 1,000 feet per lap and many of its turns are steeped in motorsports lore. Constructed between 1925-2, the Nürburgring originally consisted of two circuits – the 14.1 mile Nordschleife and a 7.7 mile Südschleife (Southern Loop) which were occasionally combined to form a whopping 17.6 mile track. The Nordschleife, however, was the focal point of the facility and played host to German Grand Prix Formula One and 1000K sports car races through the 1970s when safety makeover was implemented. The track witnessed life-threating accident of Nicki Lauda in 1976 German Grand Prix after which the hosting rights were given to Hockenheim. However, the German Grand Prix returned to the Nürburgring after the Nordschleife’s start-finish area and much of the Südschleife were pulled down to make way for a modern circuit – the 3.2 mile Grand Prix Strecke in 1982-84. Express fondness for your favorite track by hanging this fascinating layout sculpture of Nürburgring Nordschleife Circuit complete track in your man cave, living room or literally anywhere indoors. This will surely add a hint of German motorsports heritage to your place. An ideal gift for racing fans, event participants or winners. Also serves as wall art, trophy, memorabilia, collectible. The Nürburgring is a race track named after the Nürburg Castle in the area of the association of municipalities Adenau (administrative district Ahrweiler, Rhineland-Palatinate) in the Eifel which was inaugurated on June 18th, 1927. The original track, a legendary “mountain, race and test track”, with a length of up to 28 km (17.4 miles) was used in its original form until 1982.

With its current length of 26 km (16.2 miles) the Nürburgring is the longest permanent race track of the world.

As part of the project “Nürburgring 2009” starting in 2007 over the course of two years a big leisure center including a roller coaster, a mall, bars, a hotel and a small resort town was built right next to the race track.

The total length of Nürburgring North Loop is 22,8 km (14.2 miles).
